Thondachan OR Puli maranja thondachan is the God of people from Pulaya Community. A landlord by name Chenichery Kunjambu, bught a female slave from Maadayi kaav. Name of the slave was "Kaavil Valli Kudichi". She was designed to work on the farm of landlord. She has a better livelyhood under him. She was also married to an abled person. Soon they had a son called Kaari. Kaari soon displayed his skills in martial arts and other learnings. He wanted to learn Kalari, but unfortunately the boy who belong to a low caste Pulaya, was not allowed to learn Kalari.
